The Ukrainian Orthodox Centre commemorates 1,000 years of Christianity in Ukraine. The complex includes the Church of St Nicholas, a cultural museum, a memorial to the Holodomor famine in Ukraine, and a monument to the Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko.
